VerdoniAnother wonderful cultivar of Hinoki cypress that has bright, cheery yellow leaves over green, lighting up that dark corner in the garden. It is also noted that all of the Hinoki cypress are 'champs' for shady sites. They seem to grow full and do not stretch in the shade. 'Verdoni' will grow 3" 6" per year, resulting in a small tree 5 ft to 6 ft tall and less wide in 10 years. We really like the clean, bright yellow contrasting with dark green plants
